When the generic items became a hit, many parents and friends became happy. Well, why would anyone not be happy about finding something that is going to fit to anyone? When looking for gifts to give on occasions for instance, there would not be a need to go through every aisle of the store to get your hand on the perfect gift. From clothes, desktop trinkets and many other things, people have finally made things work wonderfully for both the giver and the receiver. However, there are just things that are bound and made to be used by just one gender. For instance, men are the only once who are allowed to use coats and ties for formal gatherings and women are always in dresses. But when it comes to curing hair loss, would hair loss products for men be good for women as well?
The answer to that is NO. The nature of hair loss for the sexes is different. While men experience hair loss either because of heredity or because of the chemical known as dihydrotestosterone, women experience hair loss because of a lot of factors—genes, stress, hormones among others.
It is impossible that women would be cured of their hair loss problem using hair loss products for men because apart from the different causes, the hair types of men and women are also different. It is about time that you stop using your husband’s hair loss product for it would never do you any good.
Remember that using the wrong products might only worsen the condition. Instead of being able to save, you will only have to suffer from whatever consequence that you might face because of the wrong turn that you have taken. Not like toothpastes and other toiletries that could be shared, this specific product is intended for him and never for her.
Does this mean that all of the products that are sold in the market which are good for men would never work for women? In this case, you would have to check it with your doctor. There are products which are intended for specific types of hair loss, say medications for alopecia is not dependent of the gender. However, when the product is a DHT blocker, then it is obviously intended for men.
There are brands of hair loss products which carry not only products for men but products for women as well. This is a good thing for one would already identify which are the hair loss products for men and which are hair loss products intended for use by women.
