The moment you realize that there are plenty of hair strands down the drain after shampooing, when there are too many strands of hair in between the teeth of your comb and when you realize that there are too much hair you lose that it leaves your scalp almost visible, then there is a pretty good chance that you are set to face a hair loss fiasco you are surely not comfortable of facing. If you are always stressed out, if you lack balance in your diet, if you have irregular sleeping patterns or when you have picked the wrong hair products; you are prone to getting excessive hair loss but you should not fret for there are ways to handle the problem while those who are leaning on this and with great chances of experiencing this, mastering the art of hair loss prevention would be very important.
If for instance, you are a person who is genetically predisposed to hair loss, you should pray and keep hoping that luck is on your side because you would never really know when those genes would start with their activities. But then you can always look for means to prevent the hair loss in both genetic and induced hair loss though not completely but with a significant reduction on the number of strands falling everyday.
Most people are feeling that the condition, being caused by genetic factor, means no escape from it. Apparently, people would have to see their hair falling off but it could be slowed down. Here are different means of hair loss prevention:
- Take better care of your hair and scalp. The most obvious way for you to let that hair in your head stay for a long while is to keep it healthy. The health of the hair is gauged not only by the number but by the luster it gives and the strength it has. When your hair is not healthy, it looks dry, frizzy and breaks easily.
- Avoid the excessive use of hair chemicals. Your hair stylist would tell you that most of hair treatments should set for three months or so and after which, you must let your hair rest for two to three months before getting another set of chemicals applied to it. Aside from damaging the hair strands, the hair follicles could get suffocated by excessive chemical application.
- Eat healthy and live right. Nutrients such as proteins and B vitamins are vital for the growth of your hair and for keeping your body healthy and strong thus an abundant supply of these would keep you at the prime of your health and in performing your duties.
- Avoid stress, caffeine, drinking and smoking because these are the primary causes of induced hair loss. It is understandable that work could get stressful and that coffee is helpful in keeping you awake for that next big project. Alcoholic drinks and cigarettes are known for causing health problems but occasionally resorting to them is tolerable. When it comes to your hair however, it is understandable that you would want to avoid the very things that could cause damage to it.
By doing all of these, you would never see your hair fall once again. And who says hair loss prevention is one heck of a job?
